The game is old and from the last generation of consoles and looks the part. The cutting enemies gimmick is tons of fun, and turning enemies into literal mince meat never gets old. Seriously, the game is very affordable now. The vocal versions are all worthy of listening to if you like rock music. All the boss fight tracks exists as an instrumental version, and a vocal version with singing that plays as the fight reaches climax.

High energy rock songs full of great guitar work. With the current political situation in the USA I think it's actually better now than at the time of release. The story isn't the best, but it is pure fun, full of memorable dialogue and a one particular "OH MY GOD" moment that's more relevant now than ever.
Our hero Raiden and the boss cyborgs all look very, very cool.
